Adam G. Theiss earned the BA in Physics from Lawrence University in 2000, the BSCE from Washington University at St. Louis in 2002, and the MSCE from the University of Washington in 2005. He wrote his thesis on "Modeling the Earthquake Response of Older Reinforced Concrete Beam-Column Building Joints."He worked with Magnusson Klemencic Associates in Seattle beginning in 2005.The SEAW President's Award 2013 recognizes his work on the Education Committee, which organized a Seismic Design Seminar drawing 200 attendees at three locations across the state.
